Full Release Notes

What's New

Sentinel 0.7.4 Falcon is a big engagement and moderation release. Give your community leveling with rank cards and leaderboards, add custom tags and achievements, and make Sentinel feel like your bot with a per-server nickname (and a custom avatar on Premium). Mods get clearer logs too β€” invite tracking, nicer mod-log styles, and stable infraction IDs.

πŸŽ‰ New Features

Leveling β€” Members earn XP from chat (and optionally voice). Configure level-up messages, ignored channels, no-XP roles, and level roles from the dashboard. Members can check progress with /rank (image rank card) and browse standings with /leaderboard or the public leaderboard link.

Custom tags β€” Create reusable responses for your server β€” rules, FAQs, links, and more. Manage them in the dashboard or with /tag commands, and invoke them with your prefix (e.g. !rules) or /tag show.

Achievements β€” Define custom achievements with automatic triggers (reach a level, message count, voice time, days in server) or award them manually. Optionally grant a role when unlocked.

Bot nickname & avatar β€” Set Sentinel's nickname for your server from General Settings (free). Premium servers can also upload a custom bot avatar that only shows in your guild.

Invite tracking β€” Opt into mod-log events for invite create, delete, and use β€” including which invite brought someone in when available.

Mod-log styles (Premium) β€” Choose Classic, Compact, or Detailed log formatting, plus an optional accent color, so moderation events match how your team works.

Public infraction IDs β€” Infractions use opaque #IDs in the dashboard instead of raw database numbers, making case references safer to share among mods.

Ban & timeout status β€” Unbans and Discord-native timeouts (including actions taken outside Sentinel) sync more cleanly into your moderation records and mod-log.

πŸ› Bug Fixes

Release notes timestamps β€” Version history no longer shows every release as midnight; publish times are preserved.

πŸ”§ Improvements

Privacy β€” Sentinel no longer uses Discord's presence intent (online/offline status). The privacy policy has been updated to match current data practices.

Dashboard cleanup β€” The in-app feedback and roadmap pages have been removed in favor of keeping product updates on the Version page and release announcements.

Moderation tools β€” Temporary ban, softban, and related tools no longer require a separate β€œadvanced moderation” feature toggle; they remain permission-gated as usual.

πŸ“‹ Summary

0.7.4 Falcon brings leveling, tags, and achievements for community engagement, per-server bot branding, and richer moderation logging. Open the dashboard β†’ your server to enable Leveling, Tags, or Achievements, customize the bot under General Settings, and tune invite / mod-log options under your logging settings.
